  1. Suzy Perette was a line of midpriced high-fashion dresses often adapted from Parisian designs, especially Dior. The line was a division of Lombardy Frocks, created by Max Blauner in the late 1940s, trademarking the name in 1954. "Gigi Young" was a less expensive line from the same company that debuted in the late 1950s.
