Gloria Friedrich in silk cloque-and-wool 'boubou' in stippled African greens and fuschias thrown over one shoulder and caught round one ankel by Marc Bohan for Dior, coiffure by Alexandre, photo by Bert Stern, Vogue, March 1, 1967

The 'boubou' is an African robe made of one large rectangle of fabric with an opening in the center for the neck. When worn it drapes down over the shoulders and billows at the sleeves.
